Funny old Day
Today has been a bit of an odds and sods day. I managed to get off the drive again by going onto the snow covered grass - I hate to think what it will look like once all the snow has gone!!
I needed a few odds and ends - so first off paintbrushes, then dog food in case of more snowfall and whilst I was out a quick visit to Hobbycraft as they were having sales on - but nothing I really wanted - but it was nice just to wander a while. Now home, fire on cause it's blooming nippy
A quick cup of tea and a biccy. Then pulled out the sofa which is sooooo heavy to repaint the part of the ceiling that got water damaged (thus new paintbrushes). The heat from the fire is opening the hyacinths and one is almost ready to bloom - just has a slight whiff of scent - a little bit of Spring in such a gloomy week.

ReplyDeleteSaying that, I've just been watching the welsh news and the weatherman on there says that south east Wales (yes, that's us) should be getting snow overnight...!!! Hope nothing comes of it - we've got a table booked for Saturday night....
