The following pictures are of a lovely ship that my dad made a few years ago. He has fingers like short fat little bananas, but he produced some intricate pieces of work, one of which I have.
I like to play around with card and paper making simple, but hopefully stylish cards. My motto is "LESS is MORE". I also take the odd photo and generally ramble on about my observations of the world. Cards are between £3.00 and £3.50 (depending on how much detail is needed) which includes postage and packing.

Ship Ahoy
Missed the second part of Treasure Island with Eddie Izzard. Only just found out that with virgin media they don't do catch up on any Sky programmes - that was a lesson to learn!! Oh, well, I'm sure it will come on again some time in the near future. Good actor is Eddie as well as a supreme comedian. Have seen him a few times now, but the best was a couple of years ago in a theatre, third row back - catching all his little mannerisms - so, so much better than Wembley when he was the size of a 'borrower'. Ship theme - ah, yes. This is for a friend, the third card of the new year.

What a talent your Dad has, and patience! Did you manage to watch the Christmas prog he was in, all about a boy called Goose? It was him in a past life. Cant for the life of me remember what it was called, it was fantastic :)
ReplyDeleteEddie of course, not your lovely Dad!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was called Lost Christmas Pen, and he was very good in it too - Eddie, not my dad!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful piece of craftmanship..... superb.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed Treasure Island too - you are bound to catch up - try to see if Sky has an on demand service... you can watch it on your computer.
