Here is the card I made the other day - but, ever the perfectionist, I am not happy with the sentiment and the rivets, so will redo the card later on and probably do the rivets straight through the sentiment and the card so that it does not crease around the holes. Whilst using the bunting I made some beach-huts too and made another card. At the back of my mind I have always fancied living in a white-washed terraced cottage leading down to the sea - like the ones you see in St. Ives and around the Devon coast. It will probably never happen, but you can always dream. The colours, of course, would be my favourite; shades of blue, cream and white with the odd little reminder of the sea - wooden seagulls, a little boat here and there.........
I like to play around with card and paper making simple, but hopefully stylish cards. My motto is "LESS is MORE". I also take the odd photo and generally ramble on about my observations of the world. Cards are between £3.00 and £3.50 (depending on how much detail is needed) which includes postage and packing.

I like the beach huts card Chrissy! Mary G x
ReplyDeleteGreat cards as always :) St Ives is my 2nd most wanted place in the UK, if I won the Lottery it would probably be Cumbria, but what a hard choice! x
ReplyDeleteFab cards - nothing wrong with them in my humble opinion..... but, being a bit OCD myself I know where you're coming from... lol.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous piccies - oh, it's nice to daydream isn't it....??
